OUR MASTHEAD
The People Behind Melting Planet
Melting Planet started as a shared folder of experiments—loops, sketches, drafts, and strange little worlds passed between friends online. What began as late-night swaps turned into a home for publishing the work we couldn’t stop making, and a place where new collaborators could land and be seen.
Our editorial stance is simple: bold craft, clear intent, and zero filler. We look for pieces that use visuals and words as equal partners—animation-led stories, design-forward essays, illustrated reportage, and writing that carries a point of view. We’ll always choose specificity over trend-chasing, and we credit creators loudly, process included.
Today we publish and distribute work from emerging and established creators around the world. Melting Planet is independent and built to stay that way—funded through community support, selective sponsorships, and occasional collaborations that fit our taste. No paywalls for curiosity; no algorithms deciding what deserves light.

A small studio setup—where edits, sketches, and loops become stories.
